4:30 am. We 5 (mom, dad, and 3 kids ages 12,10,9) are waging a sleep war for mattress and pillow space in two double beds at the Radisson in LaCrosse, Wi. 9 year old Anna crawls into the bed my husband and is are sharing with 10 year old Charlie and 12 year old Jack.
"Daddy, I can't sleep" she whines.
He replies "Crawl in here and kick me awhile. That seems to be working for everyone else"
